Upcycled Home Decor
One of the things I love about being able to crochet, is the ability to make my own decor. I had a couple of old cushions that needed a revamp. Decided to make some new covers to match the tropical cushions I already had.
No need to worry about fashion colours; when you create your own you can choose any colour you like!!
These are made from a lovely chunky yarn in my favourite dark green. No pattern – just worked rows until the cover was big enough, joined the edges, then added a really nice double border to give them a professional edge and – voila!!
Small project. Great way to upcycle.

Crochet Cardigan
I have been working on this cardigan/jacket for a couple of months in between other projects. I bought some Lion Brand Ferris Wheel yarn in the most beautiful jewel colours and wanted to make a statement piece. I have finally finished it – after lots of frogging (unravelling) and trying again.
This creation is based on a Pattern called the Tulip Square Cardi (https://wilmade.com/tulip-square-cardi/), with a little bit of The Hawthorn Hoodie (https://www.eandpcrochet.com/the-hawthorn-hoodie-crochet…/) thrown in for good luck.
Thank you ladies for your great designs!! The rest is trial and error. Lots of headaches along the way but I am so in love with the finished product. This one is definitely a keeper!!!

Crafty Owl
Latest creation finished. This one is just a small project for some light relief. I’m in the middle of a baby blanket that is taking ages to sew together and was feeling like I needed a break.
This is an ‘Owl Wall Hanger’ from a pattern by SheaCrochet. They have many great patterns, check them out.

Celtic Crochet
This week I’ve been busy finishing a few orders I had. This one was a request to make a doll for a young boy who is a Celtic Football Fan. The hair is my favourite part of this little guy. A few more strands to add to the back and then he is ready for his new home.

Cozy Creations
Getting ready for winter!! Have been creating some comfy sweaters for myself. Both are ultra soft and cuddly. The burgundy one is an oversized hoodie – and made from velvet yarn. Not the most flattering fit but I’ll definitely be snuggling up in front of the TV in this one.
